            New media is evolving and new media inventions are created every day. Although I am not too familiar with holograms and holographic images, it would be great to be able to export anything in holographic form from your phone or computer. This would help any visual teams easily place the object needed in its place before physically having it. For example, an retail store can send an image in holographic form via a mobile device to an interior designer to him/her envision how it would look. As online classes are becoming more popular, holograms can be a more efficient and realistic way for professors and teachers to teach a class from anywhere in the world. Another new media feature that can be helpful is to have a “read-only” program on all social media apps and sites, to avoid double clicking on a picture on Instagram by mistake when looking through someone else’s page.

            On our class Wiki, I edited the “References” section in the Accounting in Social Media page. The links to the references for the article were incorrectly done. The links were copied and pasted under the “References” section. However, it should automatically appear in the section without pasting the text of the link to the sites when you type “<ref>https:// thewebsite <ref> in the body of the page right after the information from that site is written.             Another contribution that I made was adding a sub-section to the Fashion page. Under the “Media Application and Fashion”, I added a fifth section called “Screenshop App”. I described a new fashion app which launched one month ago called Screenshop .        File sharing can be described as the act of sending or receiving files or media from one computer to another through the internet or a network. File sharing can be done through P2P, or peer-to-peer file sharing programs or software. P2P allows users to access files uploaded by other users over the internet. Anyone with access to the software can download or view any files that any other users shared. Some examples of P2P file sharing software include Kazaa, LimeWire and Freenet. However, an issue occurred where most of these P2P sites were shut down. As Brian Stelter and Brad Stone explain in their New York Times article Digital Pirates Winning Battle With Studios , the reason these software were shut down is because, “People have swapped illegal copies of songs, television shows and movies on the Internet for years”.
